The Oikos Trade mark on Fisichella's Ferrari race suit
The day has finally arrived for the official presentation that gives Giancarlo Fisichella the last confirmation, if it was still necessary, that the call from Ferrari was not a dream. At Maranello the OIKOS sponsored, race driver from Rome (our company's trade mark has now found a new and more prestigious space on the sleeve of the drivers race suit) has been given his official investiture before his debut in the Ferrari that will take place next week end at Monza. Before getting back to work however, "Fisico" opened up to the “Sky Sport 24” Tv chanel's microphones to reveal his emotions and ambitions for the future. "I started my carrer with the Minardi in 1996 and in the moment when I had all but abbandoned the Ferrari dream, I now find myself as their driver in the Grand Prix at Monza – explained Fisichella in his meeting with the journalists -For this I want to thank Montezemolo and Domenicali for the choice they have made. I will try and do everything to prove their decision was the correct one. I am sure I will do well. I expect to contribute my experience and my continuity in order to earn as many points as possible together with Kimi. "After several championship races in a different team, carried on the OIKOS flagbearer – I now find myself driving for Ferrari. For me it will be an incredibly tough weekend but I am sure that the support of the public and my friends and family will give me the strength that I need.
