The 2009 formula 1 season drew to a close with the final Grand Prix of the year held at the futuristic Yas Marina track in Abu Dhabi. So with the end of the year, the moment has arrived for Giancarlo Fisichella, the Oikos sponsored Ferrari driver, to review a season that has been on the whole satisfactory, although it hasn't been short ofits difficulties and problems as happens for all of us in our daily lives. After starting the season with the Force India team, a period during which the roman race driver worked non stop to get the set up of the car just right, culminating in the weekend of spa when his professionalism received its just rewards with a hard fought second place after starting on pole position, the call that every driver dreams of, arrived from Maranello and Ferrari. In Ferrari however. In Ferrari however thinhs haven't gone as Fisichella would have hoped as getting to know his car has proved alot more difficult and time consuming than was originally thought, above all in the qualifying sessions for the various Grand Prix.
This year, as has been the case for the last few years, has seen OIKOS at Giancarlo's side in the world of Formula Uno, believing unwaveringly in his fantastic ability as a person as well as a race driver and sharing with him both the moments of happiness as well as the difficulties experienced and always being very proud to have him as our ambassador for our entrepreneurial project of "Improving life through colour".
